like me

March 25, 2013

Hi friends!  I have started a Facebook page for Knitionary and hope you'll pop over to FB and like me, it's a good way to keep up with my posts.   Perhaps you've heard that Google Reader is closing down July 1.   I love Google Reader and it's how I keep up with my blogs and I don't know exactly what I'll use when I have to switch.  I've got followers on Bloglovin', Networked Blogs and Linky and may use one of these.  What are you planning on doing?  How do you follow your favorite blogs?

If you use Facebook, please follow Knitionary.  I'll be over there at least once a day to post something wonderful about knitting, table setting and gardening and to link up my latest blog posts.  Thanks!

  1. I switched to Bloglovin' last week, and it didn't take me too long to get used to it. I used Reader for a long time, but lately it hadn't been working very well for me, so it was easy for me to decide to switch after the news broke.

  5. A la Sally Field in her 1984 Oscar acceptance speech, Kristen...I cannot deny the fact that I like you...on Facebook and on your blog! :-)I still don't understand all that about Google Reader and such. I'm able to keep up with and follow you because you have the FeedBurner thingy on your blog that lets people subscribe that way. Those are the people whose posts I never miss because the alert comes right into my email box. I LOVE that! I wish everybody had that option!

  6. I started my blog via Blogger, and I've just kept going with it. I'm such a dinosaur when it comes to understanding Google Reader...Chrome...and all the others. I don't even remember if I added Feed Burner to my own blog. Ah well...I'll figure it out when I have to do so. Happy Easter! Cherry Kay
